About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned Asset Management professional to join our team in Sydney. With over 5 years of experience in Asset Management, you will be responsible for driving various initiatives, providing in-depth research and analysis, and influencing functions throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the introduction, restructuring, merging, and ongoing vehicle management of products, new share classes, or new vehicles associated with investments.
  • Lead cross-functional implementations of product-related activities to ensure stakeholder readiness.
  • Conduct advanced research to understand competitive and internal positioning, including fees and expenses.
  • Develop ideas for product development, enhancements, and/or expansions based on research and analyses.
  • Guide product developments by researching demands, risks, and regulatory environments of applicable markets.
  • Create materials for review and inclusion in management presentations and product governance meetings, including boards.
  • Identify and suggest updates to business processes, procedures, and policies related to products and investment vehicles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant funds management product management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Asset Management work experience.
  • CFA qualified or currently studying.
  • Understanding of operational infrastructure related to Australian unit trusts.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of the investment/regulatory & tax environment in Australia.
Estimated Salary: AU$140,000 - AU$180,000 per annum
