Asset Management Specialist for Unlisted Assets

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a seasoned Operations and Client Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Alternative Unlisted assets portfolio.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can provide exceptional client service and operational support to our clients in the Property, Private Debt, Credit, and Private Equity funds sectors.

This is a full-time role reporting directly to the Head of Operations and will be based in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in an operational role within Asset Management, preferably in the Registry for unlisted assets, with a strong desire to move into a customer-facing position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Serving as the single point of contact for all client-related requests and inquiries;
  • Ensuring compliance with client contracts and obligations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis;
  • Hosting quarterly governance meetings to review performance against SLAs and contractual requirements;
  • Identifying process improvements between clients and internal teams/systems, including self-service options;
  • Proactively managing the day-to-day operation of client accounts from an operational perspective;
  • Developing a calendar of events for all clients and ensuring timely delivery by operations and tech teams within SLAs;
  • Assisting in platform administration via online tools;
  • Reconciling bank accounts, preparing regulatory filings, and assisting with trust account preparation as needed.

A successful candidate will possess:

  • Over 3+ years of experience in a customer success, account management, or similar role, ideally within Asset Management;
  • Over 3+ years of experience in an operational role, preferably in the Registry for unlisted assets within Asset Management, with a strong desire to move into a customer-facing role;
  • Demonstrated confidence and ability to build relationships across all levels of management;
  • Organizational skills to develop and implement plans ensuring client commitments are met and projects are delivered on schedule;
  • Ability to work autonomously with high levels of self-motivation;
  • History of building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Capacity to handle shifting client priorities and deal with client feedback;
  • Great attitude and team player mindset.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary package ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 per annum, plus superannuation and bonus dependent on relevant experience.
