Job Title: Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our railway equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance on railway equipment in accordance with company standards, compliance standards, and customer requirements.
  • Install and repair wayside monitoring equipment, including Vision and Acoustic systems, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide timely and professional support to customers, including routine system and data quality monitoring, technical support, and site visits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement new or alternative components for the KinetiX suite of products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, leveraging these relationships to drive new and repeat business.
Requirements:
  • Customer-focused work ethic and ability to follow and enforce quality processes.
  • Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technician, or equivalent electrical trade qualification.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in the rail industry or equivalent heavy industry/technical industry.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages.
  • Ability to travel across Australia and New Zealand, with potential for global travel to support installation works.
