Job Title: Inclusion and Diversity Manager

The role of the Inclusion and Diversity Manager involves taking proactive action on initiatives in the Asia Pacific region to support the execution of a firm's agreed strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of initiatives in the region;
  • Support the global team in delivery of key projects to integrate and embed diversity into the region;
  • Implement education programming, workshops, and seminars to support all personnel and drive the embedding and sustainability of diversity as part of a firm's core approach;
  • Attend relevant forums;
  • Manage and work closely with committees to ensure that initiatives and programs are planned for each year, with input and contribution from members;
  • Work closely with management teams to drive initiatives;
  • Lead events within offices;
  • Manage reporting and compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information;
  • Liaise with stakeholders across the region;
  • Ensure committee spending is aligned with the budget;
  • Collaborate with business professional teams;
  • Compile, analyse, and maintain internal and external data and metrics, and own dashboards to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of initiatives and strategies;
  • Build relationships with professionals who participate in committees, focusing on office level;
  • Take part in peer groups and networking opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices;
  • Monitor external best practices and thought leadership.
About You
  • A minimum of 12 months of continuous inclusion experience in professional services, preferably in a large law firm;
  • Bachelor's degree required; HR, Psychology, Organizational Development, Law Degree or Masters degree beneficial;
  • Prior experience in promoting diversity and equity;
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently;
  • Strong organization skills, including setting priorities, structuring project deliverables, and managing multiple priorities;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent presentation skills;
