This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key leadership role in our construction projects. As a Construction Project Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple projects across various residential and commercial sites.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in project management, with a strong track record in managing budgets, cash flows, and schedules. They will also possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide site teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end project delivery across multiple residential and commercial remedial construction sites.
  • Overseeing project budgets, cashflows, and financial reporting to ensure cost control and profitability.
  • Preparing and maintaining 3-week look-ahead programs to track project milestones and ensure timely delivery.
  • Managing subcontractor packages, scopes, and performance on-site.
  • Handling project variations and ensuring proper documentation and cost adjustments.
  • Overseeing the implementation and compliance of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Coordinating and responding to RFIs to resolve design or scope queries promptly.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams to maintain strong communication and stakeholder alignment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in remedial construction, with a strong track record in both commercial and residential projects.
  • Strong experience in managing project budgets, cash flows, and schedules.
  • In-depth knowledge of remedial construction processes, including ITPs, variations, and RFIs.
  • Ability to develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules and manage subcontractor packages effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide site teams.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
