Data Center Construction Lead

We're seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee the construction of new data centers and capital improvement projects. This is a high-profile role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, and quality while driving costs down and schedules shorter. You'll work closely with diverse teams across AWS to achieve our goals and contribute to a culture that values innovation, teamwork, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:- Project management and oversight of construction activities, including project scope, timeline, and budget.
- Driving costs down and schedules shorter while maintaining quality.
- Providing construction management for initiatives aimed at increasing resiliency in data centers.
- Reviewing constructability of electrical and mechanical systems and building designs.
- Creating project scope and equipment requirements.
- Managing Request for Information (RFI) process during construction.
- Recording and reporting key metrics.
- Concurrently managing multiple projects, including new data center builds and capital improvement projects.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in construction management, architecture, or engineering.
- 5+ years of work experience in design and construction management.
- Experience in mission-critical facilities and project or construction management.
