Data Center Construction Project Lead

The Data Center Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the construction of AWS global infrastructure. They will work closely with internal stakeholders and contractors to resolve project issues, manage RFIs, change orders, and other key delivery functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Project management and oversight of construction-related activities for public domain works.
- Ownership of project scope, timeline, and budgets.
- Driving costs down and schedules shorter while maintaining quality.
- Providing construction management for specific initiatives aimed at increasing the resiliency of our data centers.
- Review of constructability of building designs associated with the construction of public domain works for the Datacenters.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Construction Management, Architecture, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of work experience in design and construction management experience.
- Experience in infrastructure or public domain works experience in dealing with authorities and service providers.
- Knowledge of Australian building codes and regulations including Fire Codes, Building Codes, Energy Efficiency Codes, Sanitary Codes, and Safety Codes.
