Join Vinnies Australia as a Retail Area Manager

We are seeking an experienced retail leader to oversee the network of stores in the North West Sydney area. As a Retail Area Manager, you will play a vital role in continuing the revenue growth of the stores within the area through effective sales strategies and other development initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, grow, and develop teams of paid employees and volunteers to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Embed exceptional operational and visual merchandise standards across all stores.
  • Meet and exceed sales and KPI performance of the stores, championing the voice of the donor and upholding the highest standards in product sorting, pricing, and placement.
  • Build and support the volunteer workforce, engaging with the local community and promoting a 'safety first' culture in stores.
  • Use the company's mission and values to support decision-making, acting as a brand advocate inside and outside of the stores.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s in business, management, and/or retail, with significant experience working in the management of large retail outlets.
  • Demonstrated ability in successfully leading retail and supply chain operations, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading/inspiring teams.
  • Proven people management skills, including leading, motivating, coaching, and developing teams.
  • Financial acumen and experience in managing P&L, with a high-level understanding of current issues facing the retail sector and not-for-profit industry.
  • National Driver Licence and ability to travel across the region.
