The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our team as an Area Manager. This role will be responsible for leading the performance and operations of multiple retail stores across NSW, including Western Sydney, South Coast, Regional NSW, and ACT.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Profitability: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed area sales targets. Identify trends and opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Financial Management: Manage the area budget, ensuring financial goals are met. Analyze financial reports and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Operations: Oversee inventory management to ensure stock levels are appropriate and losses are minimised. Implement and monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Team Management and Development: Recruit, train, and develop Store Managers to build a high-performing team. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.
- Customer Experience: Ensure a consistent and superior customer experience across all stores. Address customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
- Services Management: Oversee the provision of additional services, including car seat installation, personalised appointments, product hire, and cleaning.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years' experience in retail management, with a passion for the baby goods industry. You should have a natural leadership style, with the ability to lead with passion, focus, and empathy. You will also have extensive retail operations experience, with expertise in implementing sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
