
Family Reunification and Support Coordinator

The role involves working with vulnerable Aboriginal children, young people, and their families to provide case management services.
- Supporting families in identifying and working towards goals that reduce risk to children and/or young people;
- Addressing concerns present, such as family violence, mental health, alcohol and/or other drugs, underdeveloped parenting skills and/or capacity;
- Collaborating with other services to promote the health and safety of children and young people in the home;
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing individualized support plans for families;
- Providing advocacy and referrals to relevant services;
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on progress;
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Community Services or a related field;
- Current Victorian Working With Children's Check;
- Satisfactory criminal history check;
- Satisfactory pre-employment drug & alcohol screening;
