Wahlburgers is a global fast-casual dining leader with over 100 locations worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our Sydney CBD team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' kitchen work experience in high-volume environments, preferably in management or supervisory roles.

The salary for this role is approximately $65,000-$70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

About the Role:

An Assistant Kitchen Manager at Wahlburgers is responsible for assisting the Kitchen Manager with daily kitchen operations, participating in the hiring and training of new staff members, and coaching existing staff to achieve whole-team success.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of consistency in recipe and menu item execution, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and upholding restaurant safety and sanitation standards.

Critical Skills & Certifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' kitchen work experience in high-volume environments;
  • Excellent interpersonal/listening/communication skills;
  • Ability to inspire cooperation and teamwork through self-confidence, attitude, and enthusiasm;
  • Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations and meticulous culinary skills;
  • Knowledge of operations and maintenance of commercial food preparation equipment;
  • Ability to manage inventory and allocate responsibilities and resources;
  • Organised and systematic approach to work and the ability to prioritise efficiently;
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills;
  • Compliant and up to date on all necessary certifications;
