Lead Child & Family Support Specialist

The Lead Child & Family Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in coordinating and facilitating administrative practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality Maternal & Child Health services across the Wyndham community.

As a key member of the Child, Family, Health and Wellbeing Unit, this specialist will work closely with stakeholders to identify new and better ways of working, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead compliance and quality improvement efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting the Child & Family Support Team to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Driving operational effectiveness and community outcomes through innovative problem-solving
  • Contributing to service planning and quality improvement initiatives within Child & Family Support
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to increase service impact and reach

The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership experience, strong culture and change management skills, and a customer experience focus. They will also have a deep understanding of Maternal & Child Health Service and/or Early Education & Care delivery and legislative requirements.
