Job Title: Senior Investigator
">Job Description:
">The Senior Investigator will lead a team of dedicated investigators within the Child Safeguarding Unit, providing expert guidance, mentoring, and oversight to ensure investigations are thorough, procedurally fair, and trauma-informed. The role involves leading and mentoring the Child Safeguarding Unit, ensuring high-quality, procedurally fair investigations. It also includes overseeing the allocation and progress of investigations, including complex and historical cases.

- Provide expert guidance, mentoring, and oversight to ensure investigations meet the highest standards.">
- Oversee the allocation and progress of investigations, including complex and historical cases.">
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to uphold legislative and policy obligations.">
- Drive continuous improvement in safeguarding practices and systems.">
- Act as a key advisor on child safety matters across the organization.">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will require:
">- ">
- Extensive experience in leading investigations, particularly involving vulnerable children and young people.">
- A passion for child safety and a sound understanding of Victorian child safety standards.">
- Keen eye for detail and identifying risk.">
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act.">
- Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and report writing skills.">
- Extensive leadership experience and ability to work collaboratively within a team.">
- A Bachelor qualification in Social Work, Quality Management, Legal Studies, Compliance and Risk or related field and/or experience in similar field.">
- A NDIS Screening Check.">
