Equity Researcher Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled investment professional to join a highly regarded fund manager based in Sydney.

The fund primarily invests in listed equities, ranging from small to large-cap companies, as well as in private market and pre-IPO companies.

About the Role:
  • Lead bottom-up research into listed companies across a broad range of sectors
  • Support due diligence, financial modelling, and valuation of public and private market opportunities
  • Monitor existing portfolio positions and provide insights to optimise capital allocation
  • Prepare investment memos and contribute directly to investment committee discussions
  • Gain exposure to block trades, founder-led privates, and bespoke deal structuring
Requirements:
  • 4–7 years' experience in equity research, corporate development, investment banking or private equity
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
  • High-quality written and verbal communication
  • A genuine passion for business, investing, and value creation
  • A strong academic record
