Job Description

We are seeking an experienced investment professional to lead external manager research and contribute to strategic portfolio construction across Fixed Income asset classes in a dynamic, collaborative investment environment.

About the Role

This is a senior role within our Manager Research team, responsible for overseeing investment manager due diligence and contributing to our model portfolios and proprietary investment strategies.

You will lead Fixed Income research, guide manager blending and portfolio design, and play a key role in maintaining the integrity and performance of our investment solutions. This requires a strategic mindset, deep asset class knowledge, and strong collaboration across investment, compliance, and client teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead manager research and due diligence in Fixed Income
  • Contribute to research across other asset classes
  • Support portfolio construction, manager blending, and strategy design
  • Manage Fixed Income inclusions on our investment menu
  • Present to the Manager & Security Selection Committee (MSSC)
  • Provide insights to internal teams, advisers, and clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, or a related field (CFA preferred)
  • 8-10+ years' experience in investment research, consulting, or portfolio management
  • Deep understanding of Fixed Income markets and portfolio theory
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
  • Skilled communicator with experience engaging internal and external stakeholders
