Job Description

The Strategic Investment Professional role involves working across the full investment lifecycle and collaborating with Senior Executives and Investors to deliver business growth through informed investment decisions.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Investment Management
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for strategic investments
  • Develop financial models and monitoring tools to optimize portfolio performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align investment strategies with business objectives
  • Build relationships with current and prospective investors to drive business development
Transactions
  • Assist in executing strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions
  • Support capital raising initiatives to drive business growth
  • Prepare strategy development papers and presentations
  • Analyze market conditions and trends to inform investment decisions
  • Collaborate with development, sales/marketing, and operations teams to align strategies with business priorities
Reporting
  • Design and deliver regular and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Regular reporting includes mandated reports to institutional investors, investment committee memos, and board reports

Requirements:
  1. University degree (finance, commerce, or economics preferred)
  2. 1–3 years' experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, or management consulting
  3. Understanding of the real estate investment market and development process
  4. Experience in cash flow modelling and investment valuation
  5. Strong numerical and financial modelling skills
