About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Chapter Lead to join our Retail Banking AI and Data Science Team.

As a key member of our team, you will lead a team of data science and statistical modelling professionals to support the development and management of AI and Machine Learning for business stakeholders serving Retail customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor junior data scientists to deliver projects and outcomes for the business.
  • Present solutions to senior business and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Utilise data science and machine learning techniques in Python or R to drive model development to solve key business problems.
  • Collaborate with key business areas to provide implementable modelling and AI solutions that drive customer experience and profitable growth.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate and influence senior cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Exceptional statistical/analytical/data science knowledge with the ability to work in both theoretical and practical analysis spaces.
  • Advanced technical skills, including Python, R, Spark, and Teradata SQL.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000-$200,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
