Drive Data-Driven Transformation

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Innovation Lead to join our Technology Data Science team at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge AI solutions to accelerate Tech modernization, SDLC, and uplift customer experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure best customer and business outcomes.

This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in AI and machine learning to drive business growth and innovation. You will come with a strong business acumen and demonstrable experience in using AI and machine learning, and be part of a high-performing team of data scientists to deliver high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in statistical modelling, data science, and ML models, along with hands-on coding skills that allow them to build and implement ML model ideas easily and quickly using Python, PySpark, SQL, AWS/Azure. They will also have experience in identifying, analysing, and prioritising opportunities for AI solutions to achieve the greatest impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop AI solutions to accelerate Tech modernization and uplift customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best customer and business outcomes.
  • Leverage expertise in AI and machine learning to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Work closely with product teams to provide implementable AI and ML solutions and insights to drive engagement and customer satisfaction.

Tech Skills:

Experience with a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks, including Python, PySpark, SQL, AWS/Azure, and a solid understanding of software engineering principles and conceptual understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of AU$140,000 - AU$160,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits including flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
