Job Description

This role will facilitate the adoption and application of scientific principles to business processes and decisions, improving the quality and performance of various business units. You will translate decision-making needs into data-driven problems, utilising data science and big data tools to resolve them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop analytical use cases and architecture
  • Take ownership of projects with diverse scope and range
  • Deploy data science applications into production environments
  • Engage stakeholders
  • Provide leadership
  • Apply Probability Theory to business problems
  • Present complex analytics solutions to stakeholders
  • Design and manage cross-business experimentation methodologies

Key Skills:

  • Advanced programming skills (R, Python)
  • Advanced data visualisation skills (PowerBI, ggplot, plotly)
  • Relational database knowledge (SQL, Hive, Pig)
  • Able to develop architectural prototypes integrating machine learning with IT systems
  • Able to distil complex problems into data-driven analogies
  • Able to engage with and articulate findings to business stakeholders
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Masters or PhD in Quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics)

Compensation Package:

The estimated salary for this position is $1000 per day.
