Senior Perinatal Mental Health Expert

The Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service is dedicated to providing specialist mental health support to women experiencing moderate to severe mental health concerns during pregnancy and the first year of their baby's life.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical expertise in a multidisciplinary team setting, ensuring delivery of evidence-based assessment and treatment.
- Carry a clinical caseload appropriate to the needs of the service, working collaboratively with consumers, families, and service providers.
- Support mental health and wellbeing during the perinatal period through collaboration with key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services, leading by example, and promoting a culture of excellence within the team. They will also contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives.
What You'll Need To Succeed:- Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work).
- Extensive experience in perinatal mental health, preferably in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with consumers, families, and service providers.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues.
