**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Professional to join our market-leading business. As a key member of our team, you will focus on designing product improvements and/or mechanical projects to meet customer specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design innovative mechanical systems and custom machinery that meet client expectations.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers in developing their skills and delivering high-quality outputs.
  • Communicate complex technical designs clearly to clients and internal teams.
  • Drive excellence in design standards and production outputs across the team.
  • Evaluate and ensure designs adhere to safety standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the team on product updates and bespoke projects.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and solutions for clients.

**Skills and Experience Required**

  • A minimum of 10 years of mechanical design experience (mechatronics experience considered beneficial).
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (experience with Inventor may also be considered).
  • Strong experience in designing custom machinery, production equipment, cranes, lifts, or small equipment; design expertise in winches or hoists is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Safety-focused with a strong understanding of engineering safety standards.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and communicate technical designs effectively.
