Job Description: As a Research Coordinator/ Data Practitioner, you will be responsible for coordinating data requests and adapting to understand cultural ways of working with diverse groups. Key accountabilities include:

  • Planning, execution, and delivery of program packages
  • Coordination of internal and external stakeholder requests for data and/or research
  • Collaboration with the Senior Data Strategist to inform organisational Data Strategy and explore opportunities to develop mechanisms to support implementation of Data Sovereignty and Governance Principles
  • Assisting with initiatives that identify issues with quality and consistency of data collected and held by the organisation and its partner agencies
  • Maintaining key internal and/or external data sets as required to meet the analysis and reporting needs of the organisation
  • Ensuring strong collaboration and co-operative relationships are developed with program staff and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertaking and supporting data cleaning, extraction, analysis, interpretation, and reporting from external and internal data sets
  • Supporting the design, development, and implementation of performance measures, tools, and governance processes

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, either coordinating data requests and/or data system administration and data cleaning, analysis, and reporting
  • Demonstrated skills in communicating research and evaluation terms that can be understood by a diverse range of stakeholders and senior audiences

Work Environment: You will be based in or around the Greater Sydney Area and will be required to travel to Parramatta. You must also possess existing full working rights within Australia.
