About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring mechanics and apprentices, servicing and repairing light vehicles, conducting mechanical and electrical diagnostics, logging and recording daily activities, and guiding and supporting apprentices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and guide junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Log and record daily activities, maintaining accurate records of work progress.
  • Support and guide apprentices in their training and development.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Light Vehicle Automotive Technician qualification (Trade qualification).
  • Experience in mechanical servicing, repairs, and fault diagnostics.
  • A valid C Class Manual Driving License.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Benefits and Salary

This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will enjoy access to a physio program, discounts on products, and savings with over 100 retail partners through RAC Employee Benefits.
