The Role
The Land Systems Division (LSD) is on the lookout for skilled and enthusiastic Project Managers eager to embrace a challenge and contribute to a dynamic team.
As an APS 6 Project Manager, you will have the exceptional chance to engage with a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering systems to the Australian Defence Force that are at the forefront of Defence capability.
Your role will involve supporting the execution and oversight of intricate, large-scale projects within LSD.
Your duties will necessitate the application of your project management expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from initial conception to service introduction.
Your contributions will be vital to the successful delivery of Defence projects through project reporting, briefings, financial oversight, and submissions to Government.
Building effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders will be essential, as you will regularly engage with internal teams, stakeholders, and suppliers to facilitate project delivery.

This position is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known as the Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP), which allows Defence to offer a premium on top of the base salary stipulated under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA) for roles in critical occupational disciplines.
