  • Cost Estimation: Provide accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects, taking into account materials, labour, equipment, and overhead costs.
  • Bid Preparation: Prepare detailed and competitive bid proposals that meet client requirements and project specifications.
  • Project Management: Coordinate the estimation process within project timelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Financial Acumen: Optimize project profitability through strategic budgeting, cost control, and the implementation of cost-saving measures.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and manage risks associated with project estimation, developing effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry innovations and best practices, integrating new technologies and methodologies into the estimation process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Several years of practical experience in the construction industry, with specific expertise in construction estimation.
  • Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
