Position Overview:

As a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to identify, assess, and address inefficiencies within the supply chain, ultimately driving improvements in operational performance and profitability. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of supply chain dynamics along with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loss Identification & Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of supply chain metrics to identify loss trends and underlying issues. Generate and disseminate comprehensive reports to cross-departmental teams, proposing actionable strategies for loss mitigation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate regular meetings with key stakeholders to set and monitor actions aimed at reducing supply chain losses, ensuring accountability and providing updates on progress. Collaborate with partners to coordinate donation initiatives across the region.
  • Process Enhancement: Partner with teams across supply, demand, logistics, procurement, revenue management, and sales to investigate loss drivers and improve processes to minimize slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
  • Financial Contributions: Assist in monthly closing processes with the Supply Chain Finance team to accurately report provision adjustments and write-offs, while refining forecasting techniques to better anticipate future losses.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in data analysis software (Excel, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities for effective loss detection and reduction.
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex data insights clearly.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects collaboratively, holding both self and team accountable.
  • Familiarity with JDE/BPCS/Blue Yonder/JDA is advantageous.
  • Relevant educational qualifications and certifications (CSCP, CTSC, Lean Six Sigma) are preferred.
  • Experience in supply chain management or loss prevention, particularly in fast-moving consumer goods or products with limited shelf life.
  • Background in a commercial environment with an understanding of financial processes.
