Ampersand International is conducting a search for an experienced Bids and Tender Manager to join our client, a leading global law firm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to the business development team and legal teams in the preparation of tenders, with a focus on high-value and strategic pursuits. This will include facilitating formal bid/no bid assessments, coordinating key partner involvement, and preparing high-quality bid documentation to tight deadlines.

Additionally, the Bid Manager will participate in bid scoping and debriefs with external clients, working collaboratively with the Business Development and Marketing teams. Regular reporting to the Managing Partner and BD team will be required, highlighting progress against objectives and key pursuits.

To succeed in this role, you will need at least 5 years' experience in a bid or tender role at a professional services firm, ideally law. You should also possess strong influencing skills, a thorough understanding of bid management, bid documentation production, and industry best practice.

This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the approach to tender management within a highly collaborative culture. The hybrid work environment provides flexibility, while the competitive salary range of $150,000 - $170,000 (including superannuation) reflects the importance of this role in driving business growth and expansion efforts across Australia.
