At Visy, we are powering the circular economy by closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing and recycling. Our team is passionate about sustainability initiatives that make a difference.

We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging.

The role of Sydney Business Development Manager is to manage and grow established accounts in the nominated Sydney Southeast territory while growing Visy's footprint through prospecting and new business development activity.

You will be responsible for retaining and growing existing business, actively seeking new business, developing timely and accurate forecasts of customer requirements, and managing your territory utilizing Salesforce.com.

You will also develop and execute sales strategies, identify process improvement opportunities, work closely with internal and external stakeholders across a range of disciplines, and comply with OHS&E policies and procedures.

To succeed in this role, you will need relevant skills and experience gained through Internal / External Sales, Customer Service, or Account management, as well as experience in Packaging and/or Manufacturing and B2B sales.

You should be autonomous with strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, solution focused, and have clear, personable communication skills with exceptional negotiation and relationship building capability.
