Our Business

Fyfe has recently had investment from a strong Australian Private Equity fund and continues to experience high growth. As a result, we are seeking a Strategic Planning Analyst to support the Chief Financial Officer with strategic planning, operational improvement, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational key performance indicator analysis and modeling.
  • Develop detailed financial evaluations to support proposed projects.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and formulate strategies to address business challenges through emerging technology that drive change.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences, preparing presentations and reports to the board and executive team.
  • Support strategic pricing work and perform competitive analysis.
  • Provide modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence, and project management support for mergers and acquisitions opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, economics, finance, or a related field with proven commercial acumen.
  • Experience in investment banking or the Big 4 is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning backed by strong financial modeling skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in predictive data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerBi).
  • Strong skills in the preparation of succinct presentations.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen attention to accuracy.
  • Demonstrated experience and involvement in understanding a corporate finance function.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision-making processes.
  • Highly self-motivated with effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to changing business environments and priorities.
