Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a Strategy Analyst to support the Chief Financial Officer with strategic planning, operational improvement, M&A, and other strategic initiatives to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational KPI analysis and modelling
  • Develop detailed financial evaluations to support proposed projects
  • Identify improvement opportunities and formulate strategies to address business challenges through emerging technology (AI) that drive change
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences, preparing presentations and reports to the board and executive team
  • Support strategic pricing work and perform competitive analysis
  • Provide modelling, valuation analysis, due diligence and project management support for M&A opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, Economics, Finance or related field with proven commercial acumen
  • Experience in investment banking, or the Big 4 is highly desirable
  • Proven experience in strategic planning backed by strong financial modelling skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in predictive data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power Bi)
  • Strong skills in the preparation of succinct presentations
  • Detail oriented with a keen attention accuracy
  • Demonstrated experience and involvement in understanding a corporate finance function
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision making processes
  • Highly self-motivated with effective time management and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to changing business environments and priorities
