Job Summary:

The Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director of Service Expansion, Strategy, and Planning to lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to meet the evolving healthcare needs of Central Queensland.

About the Role:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the development and implementation of service expansion and strategic plans across the health service.
  • Assume accountability for the day-to-day delivery of strategic direction, planning, and service expansion.
  • Oversee the development of strategic and operational plans, master facility planning, and service delivery for new and expanded services.
  • Lead governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement efforts to ensure successful project commissioning and operational effectiveness.
  • Foster a collaborative culture and lead a team of experienced professionals in healthcare strategy, project management, and organisational change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet the evolving healthcare needs of Central Queensland.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the development and implementation of service expansion and strategic plans.
  • Assume accountability for the day-to-day delivery of strategic direction, planning, and service expansion.
  • Oversee the development of strategic and operational plans, master facility planning, and service delivery for new and expanded services.
  • Lead governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement efforts to ensure successful project commissioning and operational effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Highly experienced and skilled Executive Director with a strong background in healthcare strategy, project management, and organisational change.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans to meet the evolving healthcare needs of a large and complex health service.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative culture and lead a team of experienced professionals.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on delivering results and achieving outcomes.

  • Total remuneration value of up to $9,811.70 per fortnight.
  • Hourly rate between $8 and $8,692.30 per fortnight.
