Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Advisor to join our team at Calculated Solutions. As a Business Advisor, you will play a key role in facilitating strategic planning sessions, attending client meetings, and providing high-level client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Attend and learn how to facilitate strategic planning sessions to drive business growth and development.
  • Client Engagement: Attend a broad range of client meetings to build strong relationships and provide expert advice.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular management reporting and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Workforce Planning: Assist with workforce planning to ensure the right skills and resources are in place to meet business needs.
  • Software Applications: Work with a vast range of software applications to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Assist with the training and development of a highly motivated undergraduate to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Workflow Distribution: Assist with workflow distribution and reviewing of work from our satellite office to ensure seamless operations.
  • Compliance: Prepare compliance work to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Regional Travel: Potential for regional travel to support business growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: CA qualified with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the accounting industry.
  • Skills: Proficient in Xero and other software applications, with a strong understanding of financial services and client engagement.
  • Personal Qualities: A sense of humour, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
