Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist the Ombudsman in fulfilling their responsibilities under various legislation, including the Energy Ombudsman Act 1998.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and responding to enquiries related to the Energy Ombudsman Act 1998;
  • Assessing and investigating complaints received in the Energy jurisdiction;
  • Formulating strategies for energy entities to improve procedures and practices;
  • Undertaking research and advising on matters related to complaints resolution within the jurisdiction of the Energy Ombudsman Act 1998;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience working in a complaints management environment;

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$105,000 AUD, depending on your level of experience.

The successful candidate will also receive a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.
