About the Role
This fixed-term position is available for 12 months, working 73.50 hours per fortnight with flexible options.
You will assist the Health Complaints Commissioner in fulfilling responsibilities under the Health Complaints Act 1995.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving and recording enquires and complaints, and facilitating quick resolution directly with service providers when necessary.
- Obtain information and assess complaints to identify issues requiring further investigation or referral, and facilitate communication between parties to resolve complaints in a timely manner.
- Undertake investigations into complaints and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
- Liaise with relevant providers, agencies, and individuals, including AHPRA and professional registration boards.
- Prepare concise, factual reports and correspondence resulting from assessment, resolution, and investigation processes, and formulate recommendations for improved procedures and practices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Registration Status - Employment), relevant tertiary qualifications, and a current driver's license.
Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
