TasWater
TasWater Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is an Alliance between TasWater, UGL, CPB and WSP Australia.
The TasWater CDO will deliver:
· Major water infrastructure projects across Tasmania as part of the TasWater $1.1 billion capital works program
· Timely, cost effective, and quality capital works solutions for all stakeholders
· Improved safety outcomes
· Capacity and capability to transition the program back to TasWater post completion
· The necessary framework for emergent projects
About the Role
TasWater CDO have a requirement for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our team.
What will your day look like in this role:
· Monitor and interpret relevant HSE legislation, policies and regulations in order to provide direction and advice to projects which meet statutory and corporate objectives and responsibilities.
· Where required, assess safety in design requirements and provide input for constructability reviews.
· Facilitate risk workshops in order to effectively plan work in accordance with the project schedule.
· Ensure that UGL’s HSE objectives and goals are set and attained at the project level including tracking KPIs for the Business.
· Support the HSE Manager to execute the Project Audit program; including maintaining good documentation records for easy of execution regarding third party audits and maintaining client prequalification status.

What are we looking for you to bring to the team:
· Diploma level or Tertiary Qualifications (Desirable), or Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety + trade background
· Certificate IV in Training
· Minimum 5 years’ experience as a HSE Advisor in a high-risk industry (Project Construction Desirable).
· Experience working in the capacity of Principal Contractor (Desirable)
· ICAM Incident Investigation trained and experience in leading investigations and thorough report writing skills that are well received by Regulators, senior management and client representatives
· Working knowledge of ISO450001 or AS 4801
· Strong communication skills.
