Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Therapeutic Referral Coordinator for Family Violence cases. This role is critical in supporting practitioners to refer clients to family violence counselling services.

The successful candidate will play a key part in developing and maintaining relationships with external agencies and services to ensure seamless referrals.

  • This involves providing education and training to practitioners on therapeutic readiness and referral practices.
  • The coordinator will also contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to family violence and referrals.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Bachelor level qualification in Social Work or recent employment in the family violence sector.

A strong understanding of therapeutic readiness, victim survivor voice and self-agency, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

About the Role:

  • Develop and support practitioner understanding of therapeutic readiness for family violence counselling referrals.
  • Prioritize victim survivor voice and self-agency in referral processes.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to improve referral processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Social Work or relevant field.
  • Proven experience in working with vulnerable populations and external partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
