Foundation House offers a unique opportunity to work with refugees and asylum seekers. We are seeking an experienced Counsellor Advocate to join our team.As a Counsellor Advocate, you will work with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, providing trauma-informed and trauma-focused counselling and therapeutic interventions. You will conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, develop clear formulations and client-centred therapeutic goals, and provide psychoeducation in individual, family, and group settings.You will also identify critical issues affecting clients' wellbeing, mental health, and safety, and develop strategies for responding to those issues.
