We are seeking a highly skilled Event Operations Specialist to join our Building Services team on a casual basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing base building technical services and general building operations during events.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and efficient task prioritization abilities. They will collaborate with teams to address maintenance needs promptly and contribute to creating a safe environment.

Our precinct operates 24/7, with work often during early mornings, late nights, and weekends, especially during peak event periods between August and March. You'll be assigned shifts based on event requirements across our precinct.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and troubleshooting for technical issues encountered by employees or patrons, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building operations.
  • Keep records of maintenance activities, technical issues, and resolutions.
  • Respond promptly to technical emergencies, ensuring minimal disruptions to operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs and potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
