Company Overview

We are a leading hospitality group in Melbourne, known for our exceptional events and tailored experiences.

Salary: $82,500 - $87,500 per annum (plus super)

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our team. As the primary point of contact for clients, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional events, developing and managing client relationships, and leading a team of event coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate client requests, manage operational concerns with management, and provide accurate run sheets for events
  • Coordinate third-party suppliers, ensure seamless event execution, and provide sales support as needed
  • Build and maintain client relationships, develop new business opportunities, and undertake performance reviews and staff development
  • Maintain excellent communication skills, including email and telephone etiquette, and provide outstanding customer service

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in event management, preferably within a venue or hospitality environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail, people management, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, think quickly, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

Benefits:

This is a full-time permanent role, working 5 days in the office, with occasional events on weekends. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional events and building strong relationships with clients.
