At Melbourne & Olympic Park, we're seeking a highly skilled Events Maintenance Specialist to join our Building Services team on a casual basis. As an integral part of our operations, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the functionality and safety of our facility.

As a key member of our team, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for issues encountered by employees or patrons, encompassing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building operations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, technical issues, and resolutions.
  • Responding promptly to technical emergencies, minimizing disruptions to operations.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs and potential hazards.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

In addition to these core responsibilities, you'll be expected to:

  • Demonstrate effective communication of technical information and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Utilize organizational skills for task and inventory management, with attention to detail in documentation and procedures.
  • Exercise flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, handle emergencies, and work varied hours.
  • Cultivate collaboration and contribution to the work environment, with demonstrated experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Possess proficiency in maintenance tools and equipment, along with a thorough understanding of OH&S practices and safety regulations.
  • Possess proficiency in using technology for maintaining electronic records.
  • Hold First Aid certification.

We offer a competitive estimated salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
