Job Title: Strategic Commercial LeaderA strategic commercial leader is required to manage and control project commercial frameworks and processes, including contract administration, risk analysis, insurances, control, and reporting.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial governance, with experience in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, leadership teams, and customers.Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing proposed customer contract terms to ensure alignment with company policies and deliver the best possible commercial advantage.
  • Leveraging commercial negotiation skills to optimize contract terms and conditions with clients.
  • Developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Providing expert advice to project teams regarding commercial implications of specific contract terms.
  • Managing contractual issues and claims, collaborating with legal teams as necessary.
  • Resolving contractual disputes with clients, suppliers, or consultants.
Requirements for Success
  • Bachelor degree in relevant field such as Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Economics, Law, or Business.
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a commercial manager in a contracting environment.
  • Proven leadership skills, coaching, and mentoring contract teams and operational leaders.
