Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Oncology Nurse to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care for patients requiring chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, radiotherapy, blood products and other intensive interventions for oncology disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for oncology patients in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide expert nursing care for patients undergoing chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, radiotherapy and blood product management.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse - Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Proven experience working in an acute hospital environment with a focus on oncology care.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and colleagues.
