Breast Care Nurse Role Overview

Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Breast Care Specialist to join our dedicated team, providing outstanding care to patients diagnosed with breast cancer and their families. As a key resource, you will promote best practices in patient care through clinical improvement initiatives and service innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in line with hospital care values and strategic direction.
  • Act as a key resource for promoting best practices in patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A high level of critical thinking and problem-solving within a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a supported team and independently as required.
  • Current registration with APHRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Oncology and/or surgical oncology.
  • Completion of Certified Breast Care nurse course or equivalent.
