Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead our oncology team at the Illawarra Cancer Care Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and make referrals as needed.
  • Provide expert consultation and educational support to staff, patients, and family members in cancer care.
  • Oversee the provision of complex nursing care in the oncology area of practice.
  • Collaborate with tumour stream CNCs to ensure safe management of relevant patient groups.
  • Act as a professional role model and provide client advocacy, cost-effective practices, and leadership within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Promote NSW Health CORE values through behaviours and interactions.

Requirements:

  • Applicable vaccination requirements for Category A roles.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Valid NSW Driver's Licence.
  • Post-registration qualification and at least 3 years' experience in clinical areas.
