Comprehensive Oncology Care Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Comprehensive Oncology Care Professional to join our team at Southside Cancer Care Centre.

The ideal candidate will have current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, 12 months of oncology experience, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Key responsibilities include delivering evidence-based, comprehensive oncology nursing care, practicing in accordance with NSW Health Legislation and ACQSHC National Standards, providing holistic nursing care, high-level patient assessments, and referrals for optimal patient outcomes.

Contribute to quality improvements and collaborate with the Quality and Clinical Governance team. Conduct nursing observations and administer medications in line with policies and procedures.

Collaborate with Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team to provide seamless care to patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • 12 months of oncology experience (preferred)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong clinical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective care planning and coordination skills
  • Dedication to quality improvement and evidence-based practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
