First Nations Cultural Ambassador Role

About the Role:

  • This position is focused on promoting cultural safety and accessibility for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The role involves working with our team to design and deliver events and programs that cater to the needs of First Nations communities, ensuring their participation and engagement in a culturally safe and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with staff to build relationships with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and other First Nations groups.
  • Develop and implement strategies to broaden and deepen participation in our-led events.
  • Evaluate successes, challenges, and learnings from our access and engagement strategy to identify opportunities for improvement.
