About the Role

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Lead to join our team at our Seven Hills site. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for driving our Health and Safety performance and ensuring compliance with legislation and global best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement site-wide EHS strategies and initiatives to drive performance improvement and compliance.
  2. Conduct regular EHS audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any gaps.
  3. Collaborate with site management and cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and controls.
  4. Lead and participate in EHS training programs to ensure site employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  5. Develop and maintain EHS metrics and reporting to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Work closely with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  7. Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans to mitigate business continuity risks.
  8. Lead and participate in Environment and Social Governance initiatives, such as energy conservation and waste reduction programs.

Requirements

  1. At least 5 years of experience in EHS or safety management in a manufacturing environment, with a strong working knowledge of relevant legislation.
  2. Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies, such as Workplace Health and Safety QLD and Department of Environment & Science.
  3. Experience with Safety Management Systems and EHS auditing.
  4. Experience with Rehabilitation and Return to Work programs.
