About the Role

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Lead to join our team at the Seven Hills site. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the Health and Safety performance of our site, as well as supporting the implementation of other Operational Risk initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement site-wide EHS strategies and plans to ensure compliance with legislation and global best practices.
  • Lead and participate in EHS audits and action plans to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with site management to ensure the effective implementation of EHS policies, management systems, and controls.
  • Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans to mitigate business continuity risks.
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative EHS reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Lead and participate in Environment and Social Governance initiatives, such as energy conservation and waste reduction programs.
  • Develop and implement Rehabilitation and Return to Work programs to support employee well-being.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in EHS or safety management in a manufacturing environment, with a working knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies, such as Workplace Health and Safety QLD, Department of Environment & Science.
  • Experience with Safety Management Systems and EHS auditing.
  • Experience with Rehabilitation and Return to Work programs.
