About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse/Midwife to fill the position of Staff Health Nurse at Calvary Launceston.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing staff health and immunisation services, maintaining accurate records, and updating the staff health database.

Main duties include:

  • Staff health and immunisation
  • Maintaining records and updating the staff health database
  • Collaborating with the ICP Coordinator to ensure best practice standards are met
  • Conducting pre-employment staff health screenings and ensuring compliance

About you

  • You hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse/Midwife
  • You possess a current Immunization/Vaccination Certificate or are working towards it
  • You have a valid Working with Vulnerable People Check
  • You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels
  • You can work independently and build strong relationships with nursing teams, medical practitioners, and other key stakeholders
  • You are committed to delivering high-quality care and promoting best practice
