We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at HealthcareLink Support, providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities in Tasmania.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time or part-time opportunity, negotiable, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing clinical care, advice, and education to participants, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the best possible care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Clinical Care and Advice: Provide expert clinical care and advice to participants, aligning with clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices.
- Evaluation and Planning: Continuously evaluate participant management for effectiveness, efficiency, and quality, modifying plans as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team to establish common goals and develop integrated care plans that ensure optimal outcomes.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with participants and their families to ensure their understanding and involvement in treatment planning and care decisions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NDIS principles and participant-centered practices (desirable).
- A current driver's license.
- A National Police Check.
- The ability to obtain or currently hold a Working with Vulnerable People Card/NDIS Worker Screening Check.
